Join Workaway Hawai'i!

Workaway Hawaii is a volunteer organization that helps a traveler or local stay at farms and resorts as a guest, while you learn about farming. Guests are asked to help out for a few hours a day in return for a nice bedroom to stay and good food to eat. 

 No extra costs. The living arrangements and food are provided at no cost to guests.

This program is mostly used by students interested in traveling to Hawaii, or students already in Hawaii,  to have a great experience and learning about farming and plants while enjoying the Hawaiian life. However, students and everyone else are welcome to use this site. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Workaway Hawaii is primarily designed for having a high-quality tropical farm experience and learning new skills, without costing you any money to stay in Hawaii. If the Host is looking for extra help with a business or business activity, the Host may  offer payment for extra work as another option. 

Typically the guest only pays for their plane ticket to get to Hawaii. Once the guest arrives in Hawaii, there are no other costs.However, it is possible for part or all of your airplane and traveling costs could get paid by a Workaway Hawaii Grant, depending on the details of your stay that you may discuss with your Host such as airplane ticket prices. A Host may require you stay a certain amount of time to consider covering your travel expenses.

Yes, depending on the Host availability but each other person must have their own Workaway Hawaii profile account established.
